The Food Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting
expanded use of sustainable agriculture practices. The TFA-Approved seal
increases awareness of the link between environmentally friendly farming
practices and protection of Northwest natural resources.

"Virginia Green" label as a marketing tool for the statešs sustainable
producers. The initiative is part of the VABF consumer education and
market development program, funded by a grant from the W. Alton Jones
Foundation.SOUTHERN SUSTAINABLE FARMING, July 2, 1997."
IATP is also developing a web page on Labels and label issues. The page is under construction and will be
accessible through http://www.sustain.org/enviroag. later this year.
